Will it be a snowy Winter in Ireland

Well certainly it looks like it will be a cold one with all the changes in wind and the jet moving in a South direction. I have a feeling that December 2019 is going to be very mild before things cool down again later in the Winter so that would be my opinion.

I dont think that we will see a White Christmas but we may see a white January!

Overall though there is going to be a lot of cold weather and a few frosty nights too. This means we may actually see a Winter that is sunnier than the ones we normally get in Ireland. We will also see less storms this year too as they will be steered away from our shores. Prolonged calmer conditions will result in a lot of the frosty and foggy weather we will get and grass growth which was becoming quite normal during the Winter will not happen at all this Winter because the temperatures will be too low.
